Moe Ibrahim
Founder and Managing Principal
Mr. Ibrahim is the Founder and Managing Principal of 3 Degrees Asset Management Pte Ltd. He is the portfolio manager of The Asian Debt Fund and oversees all of the firm’s activities in distressed debt. Prior to founding 3 Degrees, Mr. Ibrahim spent seven years at Lazard Frères & Co. LLC, where he founded Lazard’s Asian distressed debt business and was a senior member of the Lazard Debt Recovery Fund, a global distressed debt fund. He has many years of experience analyzing and investing in the debt of distressed companies, and specializes in the operational and financial turnaround of troubled companies. Mr. Ibrahim is on the Board of several of the firm’s portfolio companies: Bintan Lagoon Resort, Indonesia, Baan Yin Dee Boutique Resort, Thailand and Senbel Fine Chemicals, Philippines. Mr. Ibrahim holds a B.S. in Biology from Siena College. A United States Citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident, Mr. Ibrahim presently resides in Singapore.

Michael Gilmore
Managing Principal
Mr. Gilmore is a Managing Principal of 3 Degrees Asset Management.  He oversees the firm’s day-to-day operations and is a portfolio manager of ADF Special Opportunities, specializing in distressed transactions with an equity component.  He is a member of the investment committee.  Previously, Mr. Gilmore was Head of Asian Consumer and Media Research at Nomura Securities, during which time he was the lead analyst on the largest global retail IPO (the US$11bn listing of Korea’s Lotte Shopping), as well as the first non-Japanese analyst at Nomura to cover a Tokyo-listed stock. Before Nomura, he spent six years at UBS AG, where he was Head of Asian Consumer and Media Research (responsible for IPOs such as Singapore’s Starhub, Malaysia’s Astro and the privatization of Korea Tobacco and Ginseng), and Head of Indonesian Research. Mr. Gilmore has been top-ranked in the Consumer, Media and Indonesian categories of key industry surveys, such as Institutional Investor and AsiaMoney. He holds a Bachelors degree in Economics from the School of Oriental and African Studies. He is a UK citizen and Singapore Permanent Resident, and currently resides in Singapore.

Jeffrey Tolk
Principal
Prior to joining 3 Degrees, Mr. Tolk was a Managing Director and Head of Credit Structuring at the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation in Hong Kong, where he structured complex credit transactions for banks, insurance companies, and corporations throughout Asia.  Prior to HSBC, Mr. Tolk worked for Moody’s Investors Service, where he was a Senior Credit Officer analyzing credit derivative-based structures.  He began his career practicing law with Jones Day Reavis & Pogue, and later with Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson.  Mr. Tolk specializes in distressed credit analysis and structuring of complex transactions and is a member of the investment committee.  Mr. Tolk has a law degree from Harvard Law School and a Bachelors degree from Harvard College.  He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.  A United States citizen, Mr. Tolk currently resides in Singapore.

Althea Seah
Associate
Ms. Seah is a Research Associate at 3 Degrees.  She joins 3 Degrees from Barclays Capital in Hong Kong, where she was part of the Debt Capital Markets/Investment Banking team specializing in high yield and sovereign bonds. Prior to Barclays, Ms. Seah was a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young Singapore.  She is a Certified Public Accountant (Singapore) and holds a Masters degree in Commerce from Macquarie University and a Bachelors degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University.  Ms. Seah is a Singapore citizen and resides in Singapore.

Yord Sukonthabhund
Analyst
Mr. Sukonthabhund is a Research Analyst at 3 Degrees.  Prior to joining, he was a Manager for Yanlord Industries and a Software Manager for Northrup Grumman Mission Systems.  Mr. Sukonthabhund has Masters of Engineering and a Bachelors degree from Cornell University.  Mr. Sukonthabhund is a Thai citizen currently and resides in Singapore.

Chong Keng Yee
Analyst
Mr. Chong is a Research Analyst at 3 Degrees.  Prior to this, he was part of the UBS Investment Bank Credit Risk Control team, where he performed credit analysis on financial institutions and corporations based in Singapore and Malaysia.  He received his Bachelors degree in Business from the Nanyang Technological University.  Mr. Chong is a Singapore citizen and resides in Singapore.
